I choose curriculum and teaching because is a standards-based sequence of planned experiences where I can practice and achieve proficiency in content and applied learning skills. And it will be a central guide for me as an educator as essential tools for teaching and learning. It will also provide me with valuable input in identifying learning objectives, selecting content, and designing appropriate instructional strategies for my students

Curriculum and instructional design.

Most especially I love and have interest in instructional design because it looks at what methods and materials are used to teach a subject or course, while curriculum development focuses on the content of the course itself. In that sense, instructional design is “process-oriented”, while curriculum development is “content-oriented”.

University of Eswatini Swaziland

This university home to the biggest library in Eswatini and the library has branches in all three campuses with the main and biggest library at Kwaluseni, the main campus. Which will be of great advantage for my research course of study. Also Swaziland is a friendly country and ranks first in the Human Development Index since 2021 and performs highly on several international metrics, including economic competitiveness and democratic governance. Cities such as Zürich, Geneva and Basel rank among the highest in terms of quality of life.

Course relevant to my future career plans

It will guide me on what topics to cover and in what order.

It will help me to organize and present learning effectively.

It will enables me to structure teaching, introduction of modern learning methodologies, and keeps me updated with educational trends.

it will gives me the idea as educator on how to approach a particular topic.

It will provides me with knowledge on how to design, use and selection of appropriate instructional materials

My previous studies, area of specialization and experience as an educator has equiped me with all the relevant requirements due to my engagement in public and private sectors of education. This make me to be a potential and suitable candidate for this scholarship.

Poor educational infrastructures, inadequate teaching aids (projectors, computers, laboratories and libraries). ....This can be solve using improvisation method and making use of available resources as a professional educator.

I am expected to gain more knowledge on lesson plan, curriculum, creative ideas, selection, uses and proper handling of instructional materials. To invest back to society by using knowledge aquire to benefit the humanity and general society. Also to advocate for proper use and availability of instructional materials in all educational sectors.

I have developed professional networks in education by using social media's platforms like facebook, what's app, twitter and instagram. I use these online platforms to design professional networks, I am also connected with local, national and international educators around the world to develop myself professionally. Industry-related to education and I attend events. Where we exchange ideas, collaborate and share resources and engage in meaningful discussions about teaching practices and trends in education.

I use these professional networks to create a strong and powerful community and with this community I have able to:

Connect well experienced professionals from non-governmental organizations (ngo), public and private sectors in education.

Engaged retirees from levels of education and sectors to share their experience with others.

Arose the interest of undergraduate students, potential educators, upcoming professional and young professionals in the education sectors. Etc.

I am planning to expand this community during my postgraduate study through
